Cincy Trip

Mommy, Daddy, and I took a short trip to Cincinnati this weekend. We got up Friday morning and headed out. I watched Nemo on the way there, it is my favorite thing to watch and then I took a short nap in the car.

Once we got there, we went to the zoo. We started with the giraffes, they are one of my favorites. We saw a cheetah show, the young cheetah was super fast, I clapped really loudly for him. It was a pretty warm day outside too, so I got to play in the misters for awhile. I had lots of fun running in and out of them. I saw monkeys, bears, birds, all kinds of things. I really liked the moo cows and the bugs the best though.

At the end, Daddy told me if I behaved all afternoon (which is really hard to do) that I could ride the carousel. Guess who got to ride it? Daddy must have behaved too, because he rode it with me.

After we left the zoo, we went to our hotel to relax and take a nap. Well Mom fell asleep but not me, silly Mommy. I had a snack and watched some sports with Daddy. Now comes my favorite part, I got to go to a baseball game at Great American Ballpark to see the Reds play my team-the Birds. Of course the Cardinals won, they are a good team, Daddy says they are better than Mommy's team. After the game they had a really fun fireworks show, I fell asleep through some of it though.
