Christmas at the Zoo

We went to the zoo on two different nights this year to check out all the holiday fun. On our first trip, we went just to see the trains. Grandma and Grandpa Adler went with us. They have some really neat trains and lots of holiday lights and decorations. It was fun to see all the cities and pieces for the trains. My favorite was the Nemo train.

A red engine, cool.

We went to see the zoo all decorated on our second trip. It was pretty chilly out, but we bundled up warmly. Most of the animals are housed away for the winter months, but all of the Oceans animals were around. The sea lions were making lots of noise as usual and the walrus are still pretty freaky. We also got to see the new bear cubs, they were so funny. They kept tackling each other and sliding on the ice, I am so glad we got to see them. The lights were really pretty and the music was fun to dance along with.

When we came home, Mommy fixed hot chocolate and cookies for us for our bedtime snack. HOT, HOT, HOT CHOCOLATE!
