Rainy Day

It was just a rainy old Thursday today. I thought painting sounded fun, so Mommy got out a tiny ceramic T-Rex (my favorite dino right now) and some paints that she had found in the Target Dollar Bin.

Having fun

After painting, I wanted to play some games. Sometimes I don't always play the intended way, but I ALWAYS have lots of fun. Mommy is a pretty good sport when she loses too.
We started with a rousing game of Candy Land (I was yellow as always). I usually am the legit winner (true story) but Mommy actually won-probably because she didn't pick the candy cane card to send her all the way back.

Then we attempted Chutes and Ladders, which is fun to not play the regular way. I enjoy just moving the pieces all over the board, up and down the slides and ladders.

On to Elefun. This game is really hard for me and I just end up picking up the butterflies off the ground and putting them in my yellow net. Mommy is not good at this game either.

Next was The Cat and The Fiddle game. I like putting all the pieces on the game board. This one is a pretty quick game and really easy for me to play.

Ah, my favorite game-Cooties. I won! For some odd reason today I wanted the pink cootie, usually I am the green one (I made Mommy be green).

Time for Tumblin' Monkeys. This game is pretty much like Kerplunk, just more me-friendly. I have decided that the rules are weird and the winner is the person who gets the most monkeys. Just to clarify-I was the winner.

Next was Don't Break the Ice, which I refer to as "Break the Ice". Apparently my version involves just busting out all the cubes with my yellow hammer and watching the man fall over. I did let Mom get in one turn before I destroyed the cubes.

Lastly, we played Animal Scramble. This game has a timer, so we can totally tells who is faster. Mommy was the winner-although she may have found a way to rig it so she could at least win something.

Rainy days are fun because we stay inside. I got to paint, win lots of games, and I also got to eat a few Girl Scout cookies which didn't hurt either.
