The Birthday Week Starts

As many of you know, or have since now learned. My birthday is this week, yep you heard it right here--I am going to be 4! Now, in normal life, you don't get days and days of people doing whatever you want, but during Birthday Week, things can be worked out.

Today was one of those occasions. Mommy and Daddy decided since the weather has still been so nice, that maybe an early birthday gift should be in store. After church today we went on an outing and I got the news, I could pick out a big kid bike!

One would think you could walk right in to a store and say-"That is the bike", not me. I needed to try out a few, talk about what I liked or disliked, get some advice from a store worker, it was a process, but I needed to be sure I got what I wanted.

So here we are...

I couldn't wait to take a spin around the neighborhood

I had lots of fun trying out the brakes, yelling at myself to watch out for trees, mailboxes, sticks in the road, birds, airplanes, the normal things you watch out for while riding a bike. I fell off once and proceeded to tell Mommy and Daddy that I was just going too fast and I should slow down. Needless to say, I LOVE MY NEW BIKE!!!!
