"Punkins"

Today was Pumpkin Patch day with our friends Matt, Jess, and Brandon. Mike, Steph, Maddie, and Sophia were supposed to go to, but Maddie was not feeling well, Boo! I napped on the way there so that I would be all rested up for some fall fun with my friends. This was our second time going, (Mommy put some comparison pictures in to see how different I look this year) Mommy said she hopes we come here every year, I do too!

We started off by looking at some animals. They had goats, sheep, and a baby cow. Then we went to the sand play area. They had some different toys to dig in the sand.

Daddy and I picked this one to try out.

Then we checked out the bounce house area. We thought the one was too scary and neither Brandon or I would go into it. We did find this cool bounce slide that I wanted to try. Daddy helped me climb and down I went. It was really fun.

I picked the pink slide.

Then we went and measured how tall I was this year compared to last year.

I also tried out the big tractors. I think it would be really cool to drive one of these through all the cornfields.

I thought it would be funny to be a scarecrow and a sheep. Mommy wanted to be the cow.

Then it was on to the pumpkin houses to throw straw and jump around. Brandon and I had fun climbing up and down the bales.

Finally it was time for the hayride. We all climbed on and headed out to the patch. Once we got out there, I didn't even know where to start because it was filled with tons of pumpkins. I told Daddy I wanted a big orange one. I found some right away but Mommy and Daddy didn't want them. Don't they know a good pumpkin when they see one? They kept trying to get me to look at little ones. I specifically said BIG and ORANGE, what weren't they getting here?

Brandon and I found these, they looked pretty good to us.

Taking a break from all this looking. Last year and this year.

After testing this one out a bit by throwing it, I decide I can carry this little one. Mommy said it was perfect for me because it was cute and little. Again, not BIG, but it was orange, so I went with it.

A quick family picture with all the pumpkins.

Hayride back to the farm. Apparently I like to sit by Daddy on the ride back.

Now on to check the straw, seems pretty sturdy to me.

We did some corn mazes, Brandon and I took turns being the leader. Mommy said we did much better than last year, we got out lots faster. That is because we were good leaders. Then we went inside the market to check out the fruits and veggies. We also wanted to see the huge pumpkins again, look how much taller we are this time.

King of pumpkin land!

Finally we went and saw Tyranny, the pumpkin eating dinosaur. I wasn't so sure of her, Daddy had to hold me. I kept telling her she was making a big mess, there were pumpkin guts everywhere.

We really had a good time again this year and I look forward to many more trips to the pumpkin patch with our friends.
