Trip to Valpo

We made a trip to Valpo this weekend for some fun and partying. We got into Valpo Friday night and met Grandpa for dinner at the Chinese Buffet. I was really silly at dinner and just wanted to goof around with Grandpa, but I did eat some. Then we went out and saw Grandma at work and she gave me a big green monster cookie. I had fun playing at the desk, pretending to do work and greeting people. When we got back to their house, I played toys and read Grandpa Goodnight Moon and then headed to bed.

Saturday we woke up early and went to this big garage sale just for kid stuff, Daddy stayed at home to relax. Grandpa and I walked around and bought some blueberry muffins and then headed over to the park that was right there. We left Mommy and Grandma to do the shopping, they weren't too bad. Mommy got me 3 pairs of pj's, 2 books, 2 monster DVD's, winter boots, and a pair of shoes and all she spent was $9! I am pretty lucky. Then we bought donuts at Chucks and headed back to have breakfast.

After breakfast we went to Westville to Coulter's Pumpkin Patch. Grandma and Grandpa needed their fall decorations. They had lots of cool things to play on and do. We played on the wooden vehicles, took a hayride to the patch, visited some spooky things, drove a haunted school bus, ate some caramel apples and cider, and followed a scary maze.

After the patch we went home and had lunch. I mostly just played with the food, so Mommy made me take a nap. When I woke up it was time to get ready for the party. We went to Swan Lake for Jeff and Sarah's wedding. I hadn't seen them since I was really little. I didn't behave during the ceremony--SHOCKER--so Mommy took me outside to play trains. I knew how to get what I wanted.

After the ceremony it was party time. I was all riled up and having fun. We ate appetizers and visited and goofed around until it was times for "Cheers". There were lots of speeches, so we cheersed a bunch, I got too carried away and Mommy took me out again. What the heck is her deal?

After dinner it was finally time for dancing. I busted a move on the dance floor, it was pretty funny. Finally I told Mommy and Daddy "all done" and we all went home.

Sunday we went to church. They have the best water cooler there and my friend Ava. Her Grandma knows how much I like Nemo and has gotten me a few things. Sunday she got me a plastic Nemo filled with fruit snacks, she totally has my number. After church we went home and Mimi and Papa came over. We had brunch, Mimi made gravy for the biscuits, Mimi makes the best gravy. We played some more and watched football and then it was time to head home.

I had a great weekend with Grandma and Grandpa, I wish they didn't live so far away. I miss them already!
