Laurel Falls
We heard from a Park Ranger that Laurel Falls is a huge bear sighting location and that it was a great place for a hike, so we decided to go for it. We had heard just the day before that a bear had actually climbed into a baby stroller. Mommy carried Scarlett and Daddy carried me part of the way, it was about a 1.3 mile hike up to the Falls.
Stopping for a break
We finally made it to the Falls, but no bears.
Mommy let Scarlett and I dip our toes in the freezing cold water, but it felt good.
We all made the hike, it was nice to be all together at the Falls.
We didn't see any bears on the hike, but we did see a deer and a duck (named Chuck) in a stroller.
Day Three:
Clingmans Dome
After stopping back at Sugarlands for a bathroom break, a flat tire change on Grammi's Aztec (oops!), and a picnic lunch, we headed to Clingmans Dome. It was an extremely steep but short hike. Mommy carried Scarlett and I walked/rode in the stroller. It was a higher elevation so it was cooler there. I busted out my sweet bear sweatshirt to entice some bears out (it didn't work by the way).
The start of the hike-we all still have some energy

Day Three:
Old Mill Area/Fire House Golf
After all our hiking, we went back to the cabin and rested. We decided to go check out the Old Mill Area in Pigeon Forge that dates back to the 1800's. It has a working mill, restaurant, stores, and the Little Pigeon River. We had a very huge dinner at the Old Mill Restaurant and then walked around the area a bit.
Checking out some stuff
